The Flagler Youth Orchestra, in partnership with the Flagler County School District, is launching the tenth season of its strings program. An open house and information session will be held Monday, September 8th from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at Indian Trails Middle School, 5505 Belle Terre Parkway, in Palm Coast.

Beginner, intermediate and advanced musicians are welcome. Tuition is free. Limited instrument scholarships are available.

Students will learn about the enriching world of classical music and many other genres while receiving string instruction in a player-friendly environment. All members, including beginners, will participate in performance opportunities organized throughout the year. One-hour classes are held at Indian Trails Middle School on Mondays and Wednesdays between 3:00 and 6:00 p.m.
