Lynelle Clark - Conductor of Overture Orchestra

Lynelle’s musical background began early on in the midwest. She sang and began studying the violin at the age of 9. All through elementary and secondary school she played violin in orchestras in school, the community and in church.  Lynelle is a graduate of North Central University in Minneapolis, MN with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education and her endorsement in Music KG-12^th Grade. She now has 26 years experience teaching elementary school and working with children both in the private school setting, as well as in the public school system.

Lynelle also has a strong background in directing children’s choirs, musicals and productions. She has taught music in the elementary schools for over 18 years, and is currently the music teacher at Belle Terre Elementary School where she will begin her 12^th year there.

In her spare time, Lynelle plays violin for St. Augustine Orchestra, and directs the children’s choir and sings on the worship team at her church in Ormond Beach.

Lynelle is very busy with her children and darling granddaughter, as well as getting ready for two more grandbabies on the way!

She is very excited about joining the Flagler Youth Orchestra team to continue fostering children’s love for music.
